INVISIBLE BRACES
If you are a member of a health care fund that offers dental rebates, you are possibly covered for the most part of the price of your treatment. The amount you receive back will and may depend on: 1. The fund itself (ie. Whether it offers dental rebates for our procedures) 2. The level of your cover 3. The time you have been a member (waiting periods) and if you have already used your annual dental allowance. If your insurance policy includes orthodontic coverage (braces), Invisible braces cost and prices should be covered to the same extent as conventional or fixed orthodontic braces. A percentage of this fee is claimable on the spot through the HICAPS terminal available at our clinics if you have a major dental cover with a health insurance company. Besides that, payment plans with a deposit can be arranged and applicants who have been approved can have either 12 to 20 months interest free with no deposit. Dental treatment falls under Medical Expenses Offsets category (T7) in an Australian Tax Return. Eligible individuals and families may claim a 20% rebate when their out of pocket expenses for dental treatment exceeds the $1,500 threshold. For more information or to confirm your entitlement please refer back to your accountant or visit the Australian Taxation Office website.
