Question #1: What are invisible braces made of?
They are a series of clear, acrylic aligners that are custom designed to fit comfortably over your teeth. Unlike braces that are made of brackets and wires, you can remove invisible braces as needed.
Question #2: Does it hurt?
No because a new set of aligners is used every two weeks giving more movement to your teeth, i.e. more comfort for the patient. This doesn’t mean that it won’t work faster, the treatment time of invisible braces are shorter compared to the traditional one. But you’ll experience some mild soreness in your teeth in the beginning.
Question #3: How much does it cost?
Invisible braces cost varies depending on the complexity of your issue and your course of the treatment.
Question #4: Who is a good candidate for invisible braces?
Teens and adults with mild to moderate cases of malocclusion may be viable candidates for invisible braces. Invisible braces can correct most tooth concerns that metal braces can.
Question #5: How to take care of it?
It’s easy; clean it using toothbrush and warm water. And remember; never soak them in mouthwash or bleach.
If you want to get a perfect result, wear it around the clock for the first 6 months or so then night time forever.
